Vacation is over!!!!!

Christmas break is over, I mingled with all the loved ones and not so loved ones.  I recieved gifts and gave a few, not that many, lol.  Now it is time to get back to work!  This week we are reading each others first drafts', I am very uneasy about the whole thing.  Sure, I think it is going great so far but man, when you have to get the opinion of your peers, things can get a little heated.  I have a friend at work who, lets just say she doesn't take opinions.  You know the type of person who you can't say a word too, if it's to correct them.  Well, I don't want to judge someones work and they take it the wrong way.  All of my classmates seem to be pretty nice, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.  I am actually looking forward to some feedback,  I want my paper to be the best it can so, bring it on.  Lol.

And away we go!!!

I have just submitted my rough draft of my paper for peer review, I am hoping for a good out come.  I got an ok grade form the professor but peers can be much harder on you than your professor but I welcome all feedback.

Draft and an outline, omg!

Well I thought alll was going well with writing, now a curve ball!  I always do an informal outline to just get me started with my writing project, now I have to share it on the discussion board.  I really hate writing now!!!
The first draft is due, and it is not so great, the outline is due it is not complete!!!
Need help fast.

Well, I have a thesis statement and started writing my paper and putting my ideas together.  Only because a rough draft is due next week, Lol. 

I am taking suggestions on how to develop it further so all comments are welcome, so here goes:

     Mandatory drug testing should be a requirement for employment, even though some strongly oppose it, I believe it is necessary for safety as well as overall job performance of a business.

Well that is it, that is what has kept my mind working for the last few weeks, not all I hoped for but I thought it kind of fit in the direction I wanted to take the research.

Week Two!! Not in Kansas any more!!

Hello all,
This whole writing thing is really tough, I have picked my topic and started my paper.  i am not sure about some of the content but am working it out slowly.  I still have not written a good, and I stress GOOD thesis statement yet but I will get one.  It seems that when I write one and continue with the paper it doesn't seem like it goes with the body of work.  Well I will keep trying till I get it. Creating a research paper, wow!

Greetings everyone,
I have started really thinking about my research paper and came up with a title, Mandatory Drug Testing for Empoyees.  What do you think?  I picked the topic from a list giving to class my my professor.  I wanted to go with, Nursing Assistants....Is their training good enough?,  but could not find enough information to get good references. It is a topic that I care deeply about and wanted to explore but, I think drug testing is just as good, I have strong opinions on both that I can share!  Till next time!

Week one!

Well I have made it through my first week!  I am not a fan of others reading what I write, this may be my biggest peev. 
This week class was interesting I am very happy about that.  I have started thinking about my final project and came up with two topics I would like to explore if I can find any information on the subject.  One may not be as hard as the other, but one is what I would really like to look into and gather some statistics about, mainly for myself.  I will have to see how it goes. Wish me luck!
