Nothing is over until it is over!!!!

This has been a great expeirence. I have enjoyed the time I have spent blogging.  I hope I will be able to keep up the post when I have time.  I have never been one for public sharing and thought this was gonna be a drag but I had a blast.  I thank you all.  I finished my paper and turned it in, I was so glad it was over and now I will miss the long nights and constant research.

One week to go, is it really over!!!

Well it is down to the final days of my research paper and it will be due on Tuesday night.  I have really liked this class.  I only like to write when it is not for an audience.  I have found myself questioning my ability.  The grades I have been getting are really not what I expected.  Of course, when you write for a purpose it is different from say, a journal.  I expected my work to be, lets say, perfect. Just kidding, I have had a great time and I really can say that I have learned some things, methods of writing and revising that I have never even heard of before.  I consider that the 1990 era that I am use to using.
Well this may be close to my last post. I hope that I will have the time to stop by and post every now and then even though it  is no longer a requirement because I really enjoyed it.

Revision, Revision!!!

Well it is revision time.  It has been a long journey and finally we are getting down to the nitty gritty.  I have been revising my rough draft and coming up with some good stuff.  I got great feedback for my rough draft and lots of good advice.  I am hoping that this will be the best paper I have ever written.  But the clock is ticking and the final draft will be due soon, too soon, wish me luck.

Vacation is over!!!!!

Christmas break is over, I mingled with all the loved ones and not so loved ones.  I recieved gifts and gave a few, not that many, lol.  Now it is time to get back to work!  This week we are reading each others first drafts', I am very uneasy about the whole thing.  Sure, I think it is going great so far but man, when you have to get the opinion of your peers, things can get a little heated.  I have a friend at work who, lets just say she doesn't take opinions.  You know the type of person who you can't say a word too, if it's to correct them.  Well, I don't want to judge someones work and they take it the wrong way.  All of my classmates seem to be pretty nice, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.  I am actually looking forward to some feedback,  I want my paper to be the best it can so, bring it on.  Lol.

And away we go!!!

I have just submitted my rough draft of my paper for peer review, I am hoping for a good out come.  I got an ok grade form the professor but peers can be much harder on you than your professor but I welcome all feedback.

Draft and an outline, omg!

Well I thought alll was going well with writing, now a curve ball!  I always do an informal outline to just get me started with my writing project, now I have to share it on the discussion board.  I really hate writing now!!!
The first draft is due, and it is not so great, the outline is due it is not complete!!!
Need help fast.

The lights are on, I hope!!!

Well, I have a thesis statement and started writing my paper and putting my ideas together.  Only because a rough draft is due next week, Lol. 

I am taking suggestions on how to develop it further so all comments are welcome, so here goes:

     Mandatory drug testing should be a requirement for employment, even though some strongly oppose it, I believe it is necessary for safety as well as overall job performance of a business.

Well that is it, that is what has kept my mind working for the last few weeks, not all I hoped for but I thought it kind of fit in the direction I wanted to take the research.
